Groups that support the Aurora State Airport (KUAO) will discuss current issues including status of the airport master plan, runway extension, obstacle removal, pavement improvement plans and other issues that contribute to the vibrancy of the airport and its many businesses.
Public Affairs Council (PAC) has worked with Friends of Aurora State Airport on legislative issues and PAC representatives Dylan Frederick and J.L. Wilson will moderate a panel to discuss KUAO current status and future plans.

Josh Pruzek is the Northwest Mountain Regional Manager for the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) covering Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Utah and Colorado.
He is an active pilot, aircraft owner and FAA certified instrument and multi-engine flight instructor. He is based in West Linn, Oregon and flies out of Aurora State KUAO.
In this CAA Zoom meeting, Josh will cover aviation issues including AOPA conferences, legislative issues, communications during covid19, Airport Support Network (ASN), AOPA publications, the RV10 Sweepstakes, FAA policy regarding deferred currency requirements and other issues that are of interest to pilots.
Josh has 24 years of professional experience in the General Aviation, Aerospace, Avionics, Marine and Defense industries with expertise in government affairs, sales, business development, business unit management, product management and program management.
Following a Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin, Josh spent 4 years as Dealer Sales Manager for Flightcom and then 3 years as a flight instructor and aircraft sales broker at Aurora Aviation.
In 2003 he created and managed a division at Oregon Iron Works that was acquired by Vigor LLC where he then became Vigor’s Vice President of Sales and Business Development. In 2019 he was selected to represent AOPA as the Northwest Mountain Region Manager following the retirement of his predecessor Warren Hendrickson.
