Hilda Pereyo is a commercial pilot and serves as a member of the Oregon Aviation Board that oversees the Oregon Department of Aviation.

Her flight experience includes international aircraft delivery as well as flying various air missions for Civil Air Patrol (Search and Rescue, Cadet Orientation, and Intercept Flights).

As an officer in the Civil Air Patrol she has been instrumental in building educational partnerships at the private, public, and corporate levels. She has been involved in the aviation and aerospace community providing workshops and activities including national level aviation business leadership programs.

Her background spans 17+ years of educational experience including public education curriculum, informal education, and community engagement programs with a focus on diverse audiences.

She has partnered with organizations including Girl Scouts, Oregon Robotics Tournament and Outreach Program, and NASA to create programs the bring awareness and opportunities for all audiences interested in aviation and aerospace career pathways and activities. She has also served as a board member of various pilot scholarship foundations and pilot mentorship programs.

Hilda is a member of the Airport Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA), the Ninety Nines, Women in Aviation, and Rotary International. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Wellesley College and her Master’s in Education Administration from California State University.
