Restoring History: WAAM’s Aircraft Brought Back to Life
About this event
Join us for an evening with Jay Matson Bell, Aircraft Restoration Specialist at the Western Antique Aeroplane and Automobile Museum in Hood River. Jay leads WAAM’s restoration shop and has overseen projects ranging from the Piper TG-8 training glider to vintage biplanes, returning aircraft to authentic, airworthy condition. Expect inside stories from the shop floor, lessons learned on fabric, wood, and radial powerplants, and how WAAM keeps “living history” flying.
