Airway Science for Kids by Julia Cannell Executive director
About this event

Airway Science for Kids (ASK), founded by CAA member Robert Stricklin, is one of the world leaders in bringing Aviation careers to youth, focusing on disadvantaged youth. Their current model is for young people to learn about aviation by actually building an RV kit aircraft under the tutelage of experienced builders (including John Cox, Dick VanGrunsven and other CAA members) many also then learn to fly in the aircraft they build, ASK then sells the aircraft and begins the build of another Aircraft with the next group of kids.
Some of the very active core group at ASK are CAA members, besides the Vans RV founder Dick VanGrunsven, there are Ted Millar, Aric Krause, Greg Mottau, and Aron Faegre amongst others. ASK was recognized at Oshkosh this year.
Please join us to hear Julia discuss their progress.
