Scott McEwen will be talking about his experiences writing the book "American Sniper", and working with and providing support for several military charitable organizations, including the Seal Team Foundation.
Scott McEwen is an accomplished lawyer, author, and Oregon native best known for his work as a co-author of the bestselling book "American Sniper: The Autobiography of the Most Lethal Sniper in U.S. Military History," which he wrote alongside Chris Kyle. The book was later adapted into a successful movie directed by Clint Eastwood.
In addition to "American Sniper," Scott has also authored several other books, including "Target America," "Sniper Elite," and "The Sniper and the Wolf," among others. His books are primarily in the thriller and military genres, often focusing on the experiences of elite military forces and their operations.
Scott grew up in Eastern Oregon, and as a young man enjoyed hunting, fishing, and hiking. He became an Eagle Scout before earning his undergraduate degree at Oregon State University. In addition to being an author, Scott is also a trial attorney in San Diego, CA
