On September 14th, CAA has the privilege of hosting Franck Texier-Travers, the current head of Chateau Belloy in Bordeaux, France..
Our host, Franck Texier-Travers, is a 5th generation wine maker and owner of Chateau Belloy, a 2000 year old winery located in the Fronsac region in the Southwest of France.
We will start promptly at 6 pm with tastings from his favorite vintages accompanied by charcuterie and cheeses.
A little more from Franck:
I am the 5th generation winemaker and owner of Chateau Belloy, a 2000 years old winery located in Bordeaux, France. The TRAVERS family settled in the region in 1909. Consequently, it is one of the oldest wine merchant’s companies in the Bordeaux Right Bank area. Today, I carry on the heritage of my ancestors who have aimed to share their passion for wines directly with their friends and clients around the world.
Chateau Belloy has a website with more information on the 2000 year history of his estate and is well worth the read.
