Christopher Hurst, Author, will focus his presentation on the aviation aspect of WWII.

His recently published third book is about WWII in the Atlantic and Pacific and centers on the Navy Destroyer USS Hughes, the development and delivery of the first atomic bombs, and the development and deployment of the Japanese Imperial Navy Kamikaze “Special Attack Forces.” Much of the book is also about replacing battleships in war with developments in aviation and radar. Christopher is a FAA Certified Airline Transport Pilot, Gold Seal Flight Instructor, and MEII Ground Instructor. Former commissioned law enforcement Detective, retired Commander of 14-city Homicide/Violent Crimes Task Force, and retired 14-year elected member of the Washington State House of Representatives. Hi is currently an author and just published his third book.
