Join us for an inside look at the XB-1 supersonic demonstrator with Boom’s Chief Test Pilot, Tristan “Geppetto” Brandenburg.

Tristan “Geppetto” Brandenburg, test pilot, will take us through the XB-1’s full flight test campaign — from ground testing and first flight, to supersonic performance and capturing airborne schlieren images. He’ll also share insights into Boom Supersonic’s broader mission and what’s coming next as the company works to bring sustainable supersonic travel back to the skies.

A former Navy test pilot and graduate of the U.S. Naval Test Pilot School, Geppetto flew 12 of XB-1’s 13 flights and led a team of over 50 engineers and technicians through one of the most exciting experimental flight programs in recent memory. His background includes testing everything from environmental control systems to carrier suitability in the F/A-18, as well as serving as a TOPGUN Adversary pilot flying the F-5N with VFC-204.
