CAA Membership: A Conversation About Our Future

This evening will be devoted to discussion only; no vote will be taken regarding possible changes to CAA’s membership qualifications.
Currently, membership is open to pilots and student pilots. A number of members have expressed interest in discussing whether eligibility should be expanded to include other FAA-certified individuals.
To help provide context for the conversation, I will present background information on CAA’s membership and finances over the past five years. This information is intended to give members a common foundation as we consider the Association’s future.
The remainder of the evening will be an open forum for members to share their thoughts, ask questions, and discuss the advantages, concerns, and possibilities associated with changing—or retaining—our current membership qualifications.
The goal is to hear a range of perspectives and have a thoughtful discussion about what best supports the future of CAA. No decisions will be made at this meeting.
A Zoom option will be available. Zoom details will be emailed upon Registration confirmation (Select ZOOM OPTION if not planning to attend in person).
