North American T6G Display and Talk by Jim Shotwell, Warbirds Over Oregon
North American T6G Display and Talk by Jim Shotwell, Warbirds Over Oregon
When Jim sold his farm equipment business in the 1990’s that he had supported with a Beech Debonair, he began a second career in Aviation. First as a CFI for Aurora Aviation, then as the Chief CFI, on to Charter flying in a King Air, he then set off on his own as a profession pilot specializing in Twin Cessna’s, TBM’s, and King Air’s.
Along the way Jim did what he always wanted and bought a war bird, the beautiful North American T6G that he has operated for years and that he will bring to show to the CAA. Jim will explain the history of the design of the T6, the history of his T6, and his experience maintaining, flying, and giving training in the T6.
Please Note: Until further notice programs at the CAA clubhouse are limited to FULLY VACCINATED MEMBERS and GUESTS only. Thank you for your help protecting the health and lives of our members as well as their families and friends.
